# Welcome Christian communities with no clergy or hierarchy are comprised of regular people, referred to as _laity_. Members of these communities are called Lay Christians. This site is a resource for other Lay Christians or those interested in Lay Christianity. It's not intended to be an authoritative resource (it's more a personal project), but is intended to cover the concerns of Lay Christians: community, authority, and interpretation.
